We are Jessie Chorley and Buddug Humphreys

two best friends and two makers, originally from Snowdonia North Wales we now live and work in East London ware we  run our little concept store on Columbia Road Flower market

We met in 2001 while at Art Foundation Collage in Bangor North Wales and moved down to London in 2002 to study independently, Jessie at Goldsmiths to study 'Textiles' and Buddug at London Guildhall (now Metropolitan) to study 'Jewellery and silversmithing

During our three years at University we lived together for one year in New Cross the picture above is from those days at Jerningham rd SE1

So we always  kept in touch and met up for a cup of tea regularly and always spoke of collabarting together and  our dreams even went as far as dreaming of opening a shop one day.

So our dream came true, after graduating in 2005 we set a small stall at the now very busy Broadway Market, London Fields, making and selling with any materials that came to hand. Evolving to develope the things we do today. We work independently, Jessie specialising in paper, texiles and found object and buddug using enamel, metal and a mishmash of other materials.

In 2008 we opened our first shop a small space upstairs of Marcus and Trump at 146 Columbia Rd this was part studio and part selling space but sometimes it all became a studio but was much fun.

In Summer 2010 we packed up our shop and moved all but 5 doors away down the road to our new shop at 158 A Columbia rd ware we plan to stay for the near future.
